Google也是有像Yahoo那般的人力资源核查

或许大伙儿都听闻,或在哪儿里见到过:Yahoo是人力资源核查网站,Google是机查、全自动查。今日我还在在网上瞎逛,发觉SlightlyShady展示一个本人体会:Google的人查过我的站。其依据是:他发觉了能证实此的浏览系统日志。

 

他根据显示信息Google检索的referer、浏览者的IP详细地址是Google所有着的详细地址、浏览者的姿势比Googlebot慢等客观事实(最少他觉得是客观事实),就做出了一个结果:浏览者并不是Googlebot,换句话说,并不是机械设备只是人浏览的。他历经那么一番逻辑推理,得到了那么一个结果。但他这一逻辑推理对吗呢?自然了, 逻辑推理错误、结果对 的状况,有时候還是存有的。但他这一,最少要我说得话,我都真难说对吗。

但是这一件事要我想到一件老事:Google认可过他们有10000人的团队,就干人力资源核查网站的事儿。我是以Seattle Conference on Scalability了解这一件事的。它是个在2007/6/23举办的大会,大会上,Google的Marissa Mayer干了以下讲话:

they have 10,000 human evaluators who are always manually checking the relevance of various results.

自然了,该会至今已有现有一年之上的時间了,或许,这一年多的時间里,Google已撤销了这大队伍,已无一人的员工从业人力资源核查?我讲禁止。没看到有关的官方网报导,也真不知道有关的民俗传言。自然了,我没见过、真不知道的,不一于也不存有。

话收不了了,然后讲吧。也有篇英语的文章内容,內容也是有关Google的核查层面的,Technology Review对Google的Director of Research,Peter Norvig的一个浏览。浏览中,采访者有那样的回应:

We test it in lots of ways. At the grossest level, we track what usersare clicking on. If they click on the number-one result, and thenthey re done, that probably means they got what they wanted. If they rescrolling down, page after page, and reformulating the query, then weknow the results aren t what they wanted. Another way we do it is torandomly select specific queries and hire people to say how good ourresults are. These are just contractors that we hire who give theirjudgment. We train them on how to identify spamand other bad sites, and then we record their judgments and trackagainst that. It s more of a gold standard because it s someone givinga real opinion, but of course, since there s a human in the loop, wecan t afford to do as much of it. We also invite people into the labs,or sometimes we go into homes and observe them as they do searches. Itprovides insight into what people are having difficulty with.

这一浏览是啥情况下访谈的,我没查出。简言之,我压根就没查,想睡了。因而,英文都不能给大伙儿汉语翻译了,这已并不是第一次了,确实是很抱歉。
